Trading carries a high risk of loss
Futures, forex, CFDs and crypto are volatile and often leveraged. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, prices can gap, spreads can widen and an order can be filled away from the price you expected.
You can lose all the money you put in. Trade only with money you can afford to lose, and only once you understand how the product works.
A prop firm evaluation is a paid product
A firm sells you an evaluation or an account for a fee: once, monthly, or both, sometimes with a further fee after you pass. You are buying a service from the firm under its own terms; you are usually not opening a brokerage account.
Most traders do not pass an evaluation, or do not keep a funded account for long. A firm's rules, such as a daily loss limit, a maximum drawdown, a time limit or a consistency rule, can end an account the moment one of them is broken.
Fees are usually not refundable once you have started trading. Whether, when and how a fee is refunded is set by each firm's own terms: read them before you pay. Resets, renewals, activation fees and add-ons can add to the price shown first.
Funded accounts and payouts
Funded accounts are usually simulated: the trades are not placed on a live market with real capital. Payouts are made by the firm under its own rules, such as a profit split, a minimum payout, caps, waiting periods and consistency conditions, and can be reduced or refused when those rules are not met.
Rules, prices and offers change. A figure that was true on the day it was checked may no longer be true when you buy.
The calculators and the risk planner
The risk planner, the consistency calculator and the compare tool are educational tools. They apply a firm's published rules to the numbers you type in. Their results are estimates, not advice and not a forecast.
A simulation has to assume things that real trading does not respect: a steady win rate, independent trades, a fixed size, no slippage, no news gaps, no costs unless you enter them, no taxes, no emotions. A high chance in a simulation is not a promise, and a low one is not a verdict.
Past results
Past results, yours or anyone's, are not indicative of future results. Results that anyone publishes, a payout screenshot or a pass rate for example, may be a selection and may not be typical.
Protection and where you live
A prop firm account is a service sold under the firm's own terms. Do not assume that the protections of a regulated brokerage account, such as segregated client money or an investor compensation scheme, apply. Check each firm's terms, the company behind it, and whether the service is available and lawful where you live.
This is not advice
