Two ways in
Which way in costs least?
For the size you pick: each evaluation at its monthly list price, with no activation fee, and what the first month costs. A month is one evaluation subscription, billed again every month. No pass rate is assumed.
At $50K: each way in at its list price.
| Way in | List price | Activation fee | To the Sim-Funded account, month 1 | Profit target | Max drawdown | Days to pass | Consistency, payout stage | Payout cap | Evaluation reset |

- Pro: $139 a month, $139 to the Sim-Funded account if you pass within the first month; a reset costs $129, less than a month.
- A breach does not stop the subscription: a new evaluation account is issued on the next billing date. A reset buys a fresh account earlier, at the reset fee, without changing the billing date.

FTMO Futures consistency rule, worked out
The consistency rule applies to passing the evaluation: Growth allows a best day of at most 40% of the total profit and Pro 50%. Exceeding it is not a rule breach: you keep trading until it is met. The Sim-Funded accounts have no consistency rule. Each row is worked at the size shown.
Largest profitable day ÷ net profit (since your last payout request, or during the evaluation), capped by each plan. “Under” means the day must stay below the cap; “at most” means it may equal it.
Check your own days in the consistency calculator · Plan your risk on this account in the risk planner

Worked example
- Growth $50K: to pass, your best day may be at most $1,200 when you reach the $3,000 target, which is 40% of the profit. A larger best day does not breach the rule: you keep trading until it is 40% or less of your total profit.
- Pro $50K: the same $3,000 target with a 50% limit allows a best day of $1,500.
- Neither Sim-Funded account has a consistency rule; payouts need winning days instead: 4 days of $150–$300 or more on Growth and 5 days of $200–$500 or more on Pro, by size.

Does FTMO Futures have a daily loss limit?
Growth has none during the evaluation. On the Growth Sim-Funded account it is a soft limit of $1,000–$3,000 by size: when your equity reaches it, open positions are closed and trading is suspended for the rest of the day, and the account is not terminated. Pro has a hard limit of $1,000–$2,000 by size, in the evaluation and on the Sim-Funded account: breaching it fails the evaluation or ends the account. The limit is calculated each day from the balance at the start of the day.

What are the FTMO Futures payout rules?
Both Sim-Funded accounts pay a 90% split of the amount requested, with a $20 minimum, no consistency rule, and at least 50% of each request coming from new profit made in the current payout cycle. Growth needs 4 winning days of $150–$300 or more by size, allows a request every 4 days of up to 50% of the profit above the starting balance, and caps it at $2,500–$4,000 by size. Pro needs 5 winning days of $200–$500 or more, allows a request every 5 days of up to 100% of the profit, and caps it at $5,000–$8,000 by size.

How does the FTMO Futures consistency rule work?
It applies to passing the evaluation only: your best day may be at most 40% of your total profit on Growth and 50% on Pro. At $50K that is $1,200 of the $3,000 target on Growth and $1,500 on Pro. Exceeding the limit is not a rule breach: you keep trading until your best day is within it. The Sim-Funded accounts have no consistency rule.

How does the FTMO Futures drawdown work?
The maximum drawdown limit moves only at the end of the day, following your highest closing balance, but it is checked against your equity (balance plus open positions, minus commissions) at every moment. Once the limit reaches the starting balance it locks there. The drawdown is $2,000–$5,000 by size on Growth and $3,000–$6,000 on Pro.

Can you reset an FTMO Futures account?
Yes: a reset costs $109–$219 on Growth and $129–$259 on Pro, by size, and does not change the monthly billing cycle. The subscription also continues if an account is breached: a new account is issued on the next billing date.

Can you trade the news, hold positions overnight or use bots on FTMO Futures?
News trading is allowed, and so is automated trading apart from high-frequency strategies and latency arbitrage. Positions and resting orders cannot be held past the end of the trading day, which runs from 6:00 p.m. ET to 4:10 p.m. ET the next calendar day: anything still open at the close is liquidated or cancelled by the platform. Copying a third party’s trading decisions is not allowed, and no new position may be opened within 2% of a CME daily price limit.

NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView.
How many accounts can you hold at FTMO Futures, and is there a live account?
There is no limit on the number of evaluations you can run at once, each on its own monthly subscription, and you can hold up to 3 Sim-Funded accounts at the same time, across all sizes and both Growth and Pro. A Live Funded account is not automatic: it is offered by invitation only, after FTMO validates your Sim-Funded trading. Profit above a one-time buffer can then be withdrawn daily with no payout cap, at a 90% split; the page gives no amount for the buffer.
