Payout rules

Funded Futures Network payout rules: the path to your first payout

Worked on the account you pick, from the official pages. The payout caps and the balance buffer bound the first three payouts, so the path draws them; it assumes each payout is requested at its maximum.

Showing MAX Standard $50K

MAX Standard $50K: from purchase to the third payout

How to read it: each request takes the most allowed while the balance stays above the buffer; leftover profit stays in the account. No pass rate or timing is assumed.

Consistency

Funded Futures Network consistency rule, worked out

Both programs have a consistency rule to pass; on the funded account MAX Standard has one and STEADY has none. Each row is worked at the size shown, from the published figures.

Largest profitable day ÷ net profit (since your last payout request, or during the evaluation), capped by each plan. “Under” means the day must stay below the cap; “at most” means it may equal it.

Worked example

  1. MAX Standard $50K: with a $3,000 target, 40% is $1,200. The card does not say whether a day equal to that amount passes; equal days would need at least 3 profitable days.
  2. STEADY $100K: with a $6,000 target, 52% is $3,120; equal days would need at least 2 profitable days.
  3. On the funded account MAX Standard applies a 40% rule to payouts and STEADY applies none.

Funded Futures Network questions, answered from the data

What does Funded Futures Network cost?

MAX Standard: $135–$590 a month ($25K, $50K, $100K, $150K and $250K). STEADY: $149–$750 once ($25K, $50K, $100K, $150K and $250K). These are the list prices on the accounts page.

Accounts page (official page, opens in a new tab)

What is the difference between MAX Standard and STEADY?

MAX Standard bills monthly, has a soft daily loss limit, a 40% consistency rule to pass, 5 minimum trading days and an 80% split on the funded account. STEADY is paid once, has no daily loss limit, a 52% consistency rule to pass, 2 minimum trading days and a 90% split with no consistency rule on the funded account.

Accounts page (official page, opens in a new tab)

Is there an activation fee?

No. The cards of both programs give the activation fee as none at every size, and their footer says none is due after passing.

Accounts page (official page, opens in a new tab)

How do payouts work?

Payouts are daily on the sim funded account, from $500. A payout is capped at $1,000–$3,000 for payouts 1 to 3 and $1,200–$3,500 from the 4th (the same on both programs), and at $10,000 per user per payout across all accounts. The balance must also stay above a buffer of $1,500–$6,000 on MAX Standard and $1,200–$5,500 on STEADY, by size. Methods are PayPal, bank wire or ACH.

Accounts page (official page, opens in a new tab)FAQ (official page, opens in a new tab)

What consistency rules apply?

To pass, 40% on MAX Standard and 52% on STEADY; the cards do not say what the percent is measured against or whether a day equal to it counts. On the funded account, 40% on MAX Standard and none on STEADY.

Accounts page (official page, opens in a new tab)

Can I trade the news, use a bot or hold positions overnight?

News trading is allowed during the evaluation; on the funded account tier 1 events cannot be traded, with no position or order open one minute before or after. Automated trading is allowed at FFN's discretion, although the Terms of Use list trade bots as prohibited on the Site. Every position must be closed by 04:50pm EST, and hedging is not allowed.

FAQ (official page, opens in a new tab)

When does a funded account go live?

On the cards a live review comes after 4 payouts on one account or 10 since the last one, and all sim accounts close. The Why FFN page instead says a $5,000 withdrawal can qualify you for a live funded account, and the Terms of Use let FFN move a funded user to live at any point. Live funded accounts pay professional data fees of $126 a month per exchange.
