Consistency

TradeDay consistency rule, worked out

The rule changes by plan and by stage. Each row is worked at the size shown, from the published figures.

Largest profitable day ÷ net profit (since your last payout request, or during the evaluation), capped by each plan. “Under” means the day must stay below the cap; “at most” means it may equal it.

Worked example

  1. Quick Pay Intraday $50K: the 30% rule caps your largest day at $900 on the $3,000 target, so you need at least 4 profitable days. A bigger day raises the target instead of failing you.
  2. Fast Pass $50K: with 45%, your largest day is $1,350 on the $3,000 target: at least 3 profitable days.
  3. In a Fast Pass Funded Sim account opened from July 26, 2026, the 45% rule is measured on total gross profit, current profit plus payouts, not on the profit since your last request.
  4. Quick Pay Funded Sim has no consistency rule.

Funded Sim account 7

After you pass
You move to a Funded Sim account of the same size. Its drawdown is intraday whichever evaluation you took, and it trails gross profit (profit plus payouts), so a payout does not pull it back.

Help: What is Quick Pay? (official page, opens in a new tab)

Profit split
50/50 below $4,000 of current profit and 80/20 above it. In Funded Live, the balance carried over is split 50/50 and profit above it 90/10. Splits are worked per account.

Move to Funded Live
Every Funded Sim account is reviewed when it reaches $10,000 of gross profit (profit plus payouts): access pauses at the end of that day and profit above the level is removed, so you stop trading there. Most reviews end in a move to Funded Live, some in an extension.

Trading rules 7

News
Open positions are closed automatically 2 minutes before tier 1 economic releases (FOMC, US CPI, non-farm payrolls, oil and gas inventories, crop reports), and the market reopens 2 minutes after. An accidental breach does not fail the account; traders found ignoring the rule and abusing it lose it.

Help: News and data releases (official page, opens in a new tab)

Overnight
Not allowed: positions must be flat 10 minutes before the close of each product, so nothing is held when the market closes. Trading the overnight session itself is allowed.

Help: Permitted trading times (official page, opens in a new tab)

Platforms
Tradovate or NinjaTrader (TradingView and Jigsaw connect to them), or Rithmic with R|Trader Pro, Quantower, ATAS, Motivewave, Bookmap, Sierra Chart and others. NinjaTrader Desktop does not work with Rithmic accounts, and all your accounts must be with one broker.

Your own automated systems are allowed on the supported platforms; systems bought from a third party are forbidden, and no platform API is offered. Strategies producing more than 200 trades a day are not allowed. Copy trading from your own accounts elsewhere is allowed.

FAQ

TradeDay questions, answered from the data

How much does TradeDay cost?

Quick Pay Intraday costs $100, $131, $240 or $360 a month at list price, for the $25K, $50K, $100K and $150K accounts. Quick Pay End of Day costs $120, $175, $285 or $400, and Fast Pass $130, $189, $330 or $500. There is no activation fee, and the subscription ends when you are funded.

What is the difference between Quick Pay and Fast Pass?

Quick Pay asks for 5 trading days and a 30% consistency limit, and its Funded Sim account pays from the first day with no buffer and no consistency rule. Fast Pass asks for 3 trading days and a 45% limit, is end-of-day throughout, and its Funded Sim payouts need 5 profitable days, are capped by size and follow a consistency rule on gross profit.

What is the difference between Intraday and End of Day?

With Intraday, the drawdown follows your highest balance of the day, open profit included. With End of Day, it moves only at the daily close. Both stop trailing at the starting balance, and a Quick Pay End of Day account switches to an intraday drawdown once it is funded.

How do payouts work?

On Quick Pay you can request $250 or more from the first day while the balance is positive; profit splits 50/50 below $4,000 of current profit and 80/20 above it. On Fast Pass, each request needs 5 profitable days, fresh profit and a balance above the start, is capped at $750–$2,250 by size, and splits 80/20. Requests before 5:30 pm CT are processed within 24 hours on business days.

Is the funded account real money?

A Funded Sim account is a simulation and pays from simulated profits. Funded Live trades the live markets, with up to 5 accounts, at a 90/10 split (on Quick Pay, the balance carried over from Funded Sim is split 50/50 first). Quick Pay accounts are reviewed for the move at $10,000 of gross profit; Fast Pass accounts move at the fifth payout request.
