BluSky review: Launch, Propel, Orbit and Instant Funding
Five BluSky programs, all futures, from $59 a month to $599 once. Launch and Propel are subscription evaluations with a gentler second phase before funding; Orbit is a one-time, single-phase evaluation; Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded are funded on purchase. Every price here is the official list price: BluSky advertises its own checkout discount on Propel, so no promotion is named on this page.

- Launch: $59 a month, $158 to the Sim Funded account if you pass within the first month; 8 months ($571) cost less than one Instant Sim Funded ($599); a reset costs $49, less than a month.
- Propel: $160 a month, $160 to the Sim Funded account if you pass within the first month; 3 months ($480) cost less than one Instant Sim Funded ($599); a reset costs $79, less than a month.
- Launch and Propel bill monthly while the evaluation runs, but stop the moment it is passed; Orbit, Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded are one-time fees.
- No pass rate is assumed: the months are how many you could pay before one Instant Sim Funded costs less, not how long passing takes.

BluSky consistency rule, worked out
Every program uses the same formula (the largest profitable day divided by the sum of profitable days only), but the percent and the stage it applies at both vary.
Largest profitable day ÷ net profit (since your last payout request, or during the evaluation), capped by each plan. “Under” means the day must stay below the cap; “at most” means it may equal it.

- Platforms
- Volumetrica, Tradovate, Rithmic, Tradesea or Tickblaze, chosen at checkout, all at the same price.
- Overnight and weekend holding
- Not permitted; the system auto-liquidates open positions shortly before the close, though the trader stays responsible for closing manually.
- EAs and copiers
- Bots, algorithms and trade copiers are allowed for the account owner's own personal use on every account type.
- Inactivity
- A funded account must be traded at least once every 30 days or the broker may close it.

- Path to a real-money account
- $10,000 of total profit triggers a Risk Team review on Launch, Propel, Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded; Orbit moves automatically at its own profit ceiling. Live payouts split 90% to the trader.
Accounts and fees 5
- Refunds
- Five official pages disagree: two say never, one allows a 48-hour window minus a 15% fee, one allows 48 hours minus a 50% fee, and the most recently dated page says non-refundable except where the law requires it.
- Payment methods
- Credit and debit cards, ACH and PayPal to buy; Gusto or Rise Pay to get paid.
- Market data
- Level 1 data is free through the evaluation, Buffer and Sim Funded stages; an optional Level 2 upgrade is bought from BluSky before going live, at a price no page states.
- Maximum accounts
- Unlimited evaluation accounts; up to 3 funded accounts at a time, shared across Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded and Direct to Funded; up to 2 Live Brokerage accounts, never alongside a Sim Funded one.

Traps and contradictions
From BluSky's own pages. BluSky disagrees with itself unusually often, especially on refunds and on its own checkout tool's numbers: the watch-outs follow the program you picked.
Watch out: Launch 3
- Checkout consistency disputed
The checkout tool shows a higher consistency percent than published on the 50K evaluation; the dedicated Launch article and the general evaluation rules both say 50%.
- Sim Funded minimum balance disputed
The Launch article and a general processing article give two different minimum-balance figures for the same accounts - see conflicts.
- Launch fee due after passing
Due 14 days after passing, not at purchase; missing it forfeits the passed evaluation permanently.
Watch out: Propel 3
- Advertised discount
A 30%-off code is advertised on the homepage for Propel only; it was not confirmed to work.
- No published minimum trading days
Only a derived consequence of the consistency rule, not a stated rule.
Help: Propel plans (official page, opens in a new tab)Help: What to expect (official page, opens in a new tab)
- Sim Funded consistency not published
No consistency rule is stated once Sim Funded, unlike Orbit, which publishes one explicitly.
Help: Propel plans (official page, opens in a new tab)Help: Sim Funded accounts rules (official page, opens in a new tab)
Watch out: Orbit 3
- Sim Funded drawdown disputed
The current Orbit article and an older processing article disagree on the 100K and 200K figures, and the older one omits the 150K size.
- Checkout target-profit figure adds the account size
The checkout tool's 'Target Profit' figure equals the account size plus the real target, not the target alone.
- 30-day window, no extension
A reset creates a fresh evaluation but does not extend the 30-day access window from the original purchase.
Watch out: Direct to Funded 3
- Losing-day limit
The only BluSky program with a cap on negative trading days: a 4th in any rolling 10 closes the account.
- No reset
A breached account cannot be reset: a new one has to be bought.
- Activation fee not published
No page states an activation fee amount, or explicitly states there is none.

Watch out: Instant Sim Funded 3
- No reset
A breached account cannot be reset: a new one has to be bought.
- Restricted countries
Not accepted from any of the firm's listed countries; no page confirms US residents are accepted.

FAQ
BluSky questions, answered from the data
What does BluSky cost?
Launch from $59 a month, Propel from $150 a month, Orbit from $199 once, Direct to Funded $749 once, and Instant Sim Funded $599 once.
Home page (official page, opens in a new tab)Checkout: choose a plan (official page, opens in a new tab)
Is there a BluSky discount code?
No promotion is shown at this checkout: a code has been tried and refused, so every price on this page is the official list price.
Does BluSky accept US traders?
No page confirms it: the United States does not appear on the firm's restricted-country list, but no page states in words that US residents are accepted.
Help: Restricted countries (official page, opens in a new tab)
What is BluSky's Buffer or BluLive stage?
A second, gentler evaluation phase on Launch and Propel only: a smaller profit target and no daily loss limit, reached after passing the first phase and completed before the Sim Funded account opens. Orbit and the two Instant Funding programs skip it entirely.
Help: Launch plans (official page, opens in a new tab)Help: Propel plans (official page, opens in a new tab)
Is the BluSky drawdown static or trailing?
It varies by size within the same program: Launch, Propel and Orbit each mix an end-of-day trailing drawdown on some sizes with a fixed static floor on others. Direct to Funded is static. Instant Sim Funded trails intraday, in real time, until it locks above the starting balance.

Which BluSky programs have a consistency rule?
Launch: 50% to pass, 34% at the Buffer phase, none published once Sim Funded. Propel: 34% at both phases (21% on the 300K), none published once Sim Funded. Orbit: none to pass, 40% once Sim Funded. Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded: 21% from the first payout.

Can you reset a BluSky account?
Yes, on the evaluation stage of Launch, Propel and Orbit. Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded cannot be reset at all: a breach means buying again.

What is BluSky's refund policy?
Unclear: five official pages give at least three different positions, from no refunds at all to a 48-hour window minus a 15% or 50% fee.
How does BluSky's Live Brokerage work?
On Launch, Propel, Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded, $10,000 of total profit triggers a Risk Team review; Orbit instead moves automatically at its own size-specific profit ceiling. Live payouts split 90% to the trader.
