Payout rules

BrightFunded payout rules: the path to your first payout

Worked on the account you pick, from the official pages: the limits as percents of the account, then the funded account and its payouts. The funded account has no payout cap and no minimum, so the stations list the rules instead of a worked balance.

2-Step Bright $100K: from purchase to the payout rules

How to read it: no published cap, withdrawal target or share of the profit bounds each request here, so no balance is drawn: the stations list the rules that decide each payout.

Consistency

BrightFunded consistency rule, worked out

None of the three plans has a consistency rule, to pass or on payouts: the rows below say so for each stage.

Largest profitable day ÷ net profit (since your last payout request, or during the evaluation), capped by each plan. “Under” means the day must stay below the cap; “at most” means it may equal it.

Trading rules 6

News trading
Free in both evaluation phases. On a funded account no trade may be executed within 5 minutes either side of a major release: a profit made in that 10-minute window is deducted and a loss is not compensated. It is a soft breach, not a breach of the account.

Help: News trading (official page, opens in a new tab)

Overnight & weekend
Allowed: positions need not be closed overnight or for the weekend. Swap fees apply unless the Swap-Free add-on was bought.

Help: Weekend positions (official page, opens in a new tab)

EAs and copiers
EAs are allowed, but not systems built to trade at superhuman speed, and API or automated trading does not work on DXtrade. Copy trading is allowed only between accounts you own.

Help: Expert Advisors (official page, opens in a new tab)Help: Copy trading (official page, opens in a new tab)

Banned strategies
Hedging across accounts, firms or platforms; exploiting platform errors or delayed prices; multi-account or coordinated trades; grid trading, arbitrage, tick scalping and high-frequency trading; overleveraging, overexposure, one-sided bets and account rolling. There is no minimum holding time.

Help: Prohibited strategies (official page, opens in a new tab)

Platforms
MetaTrader 5, cTrader and DXtrade.

Trading platforms page (official page, opens in a new tab)

Inactivity
30 calendar days without a trade that stays open at least a minute deactivates the account, in either phase or once funded; if you do not ask support to reactivate it within 6 months, it can be marked as a hard breach.

Refunds
A challenge can be refunded if no trade was placed and it was bought in the last 30 days; the Terms give a consumer a 14-day withdrawal right on the same condition, and say fees are not refunded after a cancellation, a failed evaluation or early termination. A breached challenge loses its fee.

Help: Refunds (official page, opens in a new tab)

Capital you can hold
You can buy any number of challenges, but a trader can hold at most $400,000 of funded capital: accounts passed beyond that wait until a funded account is breached.

Help: Capital you can hold (official page, opens in a new tab)

Scaling plan
Every four months a funded account can grow by 30% of its original size, if it made at least 10% profit in the period, was profitable in at least two of the four months, paid out at least twice and is at breakeven or in profit; you must ask support. The split rises to 90% from the first scale-up and to 100% from the third.

Help: Scaling up a funded account (official page, opens in a new tab)

Evaluation profit reward
15% of your Phase 1 and Phase 2 profits is added to the starting balance of your next funded account once your funded accounts reach 10% growth and you are paid; paid challenges only, and you must contact support to claim it.

BrightFunded questions, answered from the data

How do the three BrightFunded plans differ?

1-Step: one phase with a 10% target, a 3% daily limit and a 6% trailing drawdown. 2-Step Bright: 8% then 5%, 4% daily and 8% static. 2-Step Classic: 10% then 5%, 5% daily and 10% static. All three ask 5 minimum trading days per phase, with no time limit and no consistency rule.
